This 2-hour course provides a comprehensive overview of renovation loan programs and their practical application in today’s lending environment. Participants will gain a clear understanding of what renovation loans are, the different types available, and how to determine the most appropriate option for various borrower and property scenarios.

The course explores major renovation loan programs, including FHA, USDA, VA, and Conventional options. Special emphasis is placed on FHA renovation loans, covering qualification requirements, program guidelines, contractor and consultant roles, bid requirements, and the renovation fund draw process. Additional sections review USDA and VA renovation guidelines, eligible repairs, and specific program requirements such as the VA Builder ID.
