Description
This 2-hour course will help equip real estate professionals with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively serve military buyers and sellers. The course explores the structure of the military market, key acronyms and terminology, PCS timelines, housing allowances, and the unique challenges of military relocations. Participants gain practical guidance on consultations, showings, offers, inspections, and settlements, along with an overview of military-specific resources and VA financing basics. Real-world scenarios and a Q&A session reinforce best practices for supporting service members and their families through successful, compliant real estate transactions.
 | Mary Chieppa - Mary is an experienced real estate educator, coach, and industry leader with over 25 years in residential, REO, and land sales across MD, DC, and VA. She has managed education programs for Coldwell Banker, providing pre-licensing, continuing education, and agent development across 34 offices, and has trained instructors throughout the DMV region. Currently, Mary develops online continuing education courses and contributes to professional textbooks for Kaplan Professional Education & Oncourse Learning. She also coaches agents and leads development programs through AACAR, CAR, FCAR, GCAAR, MR, PGCAR, REBI, RE/MAX, and SMAR, while directing large association events and national courses. As the owner of Plan2Pass Real Estate School, she oversees content creation, instruction, and management for pre-licensing, broker courses, and continuing education programs, holding licenses for REBAC, NAR, and REBI certification courses. |
